About the Item

Rare pendant lamp by Anvia based on a design by Dutch designer J.J.M. Hoogervorst from the 1960s. The lamp impresses with its clear geometry. The basic form consists of two rectangular bodies that are rotated by 45 degrees. The bodies are divided into slats and, in this version, differentiated in color in copper and white. Light escapes or is reflected between the protruding slats. Despite the simple shape, this creates a very complex play of light. At the same time, the slats shield the light source and prevent direct glare. The shape and color scheme are effective both when the light is on and off. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
