About the Item

The Tikal Armed Sconce is recognizable by our signature micarta shade, handmade from linen and resin. The lightweight shade produces a soft, ambient glow and visual interest lit and unlit. The cylindrical shade hangs like a lantern from a blackened brass arm. The cord emerges from the armature for plug in and includes a cord switch for ease of use. Inspired by Danish and Italian mid-century modernism, the Tikal Armed Sconce is a part of a suite of light fixtures developed by artist Saul Becker of Mutuus Studio. Each fixture is designed and handmade to order in Seattle by the Mutuus Made team, the fabrication arm of the architecture and design collaborative Mutuus Studio.
