About the Item

Elio Martinelli was an Italian lighting designer. He founded his own business of lighting in 1950 in Lucca (Toscana): Martinelli Luce. Steel bars folded and curved compose these beautiful pendants lamps. His work is very representative of the trend of Italian modernist. This design was characterized by an organic geometry. He continued his work until he died in 2004. Now his work continue to survive with all the Martinelli family.
