About the Item

Postmodern Adjustable Ceiling Lamp Lift by Jean-Marc Da Costa for Serien Lighting, 1980s Rare ceiling light from serie lighting based on a design by jean-marc da costa from the 80s. Filigree design in a technical design language. Art deco quotations can be seen in the details. The lamp head sits at the end of a rod construction, which opens into a rectangular canopy at the top. The proportions of the small lamp head to the rod are striking here. The lamp can be manually extended to approx. 190 cm using a sliding mechanism. The supply line is routed via a black spiral cable. It is only in detail that you can see the finely crafted elements of the lamp head. The deliberately staged screw heads and connections, the handle for height adjustment, etc. The reflectors and diffusers are closed on the top with a fine perforated sheet and protrude from the side of the lamp head. They are colored in a light blue. The size of the reflector hoods is perfectly adapted to the lamp. The condition of the lamp is very good with signs of wear. This piece has an attribution mark, up to 250v (europe/uk standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
