About the Item

This is an impressive Space Age globe pendant lamp from the 1960s-1970s. The globe is made of a blown glass globe and a chromed metal part with 8 chrome plated E14 fittings on the inside, in a playful setting. This lamp looks very much like the 'Sputnik' lamps of the German manufacturers Doria Leuchten and Glassütte Limburg. The ceiling cap has a small piece cut out to let the wiring out. It is in a very good condition with some signs of age and use.
