Tima pendant light by Luca Nichetto Materials: Shade: Clear/Grigio Kaiser/Amber mouth blown glass Structure: Bronze satin, black chrome, glass Dimensions: W 44.2 x D 44.2 x H 34 cm In the roundness of their sinuous bodies and surprising transparencies, jellyfish illuminate the darkness of the seas as dreamlike creatures. Tima pendant lamp recalls that natural spectacle in the apparent lightness of the precious Murano glass. The structure composed by three separate stacked elements revolves around its core, made by an LED light source hiding inside a tubular diffuser. Propagating from the centre, the light interacts with the various textures on the glas. Born in Venice in 1976, he studied there at the IUAV, the Venice University Institute of Architecture, from which he graduated in industrial design. In 1999, he started his career designing his first projects for Salviati using Murano...
