Conceived as a suspended luminous sculpture, the piece draws on the archetypal form of the ancient Middle Eastern incense burner — a ritual object tied to spirituality and hospitality — to create a powerful visual narrative within modern interiors. Crafted in Italy by Caspal in collaboration with Léa Zeroil, the chandelier features Caspal’s exclusive metal-plated woven wicker technique, where natural wicker is hand-woven and then finished with a fine metal plating to produce a textured, luminous surface that interacts beautifully with both natural and artificial light. This unique materiality gives the chandelier a dynamic interplay of shadow and reflection, making it ideal as a sculptural centerpiece in residential spaces, luxury hospitality environments, galleries, and curated interiors.
