About the Item

Extremely rare Mid-Century Modern vintage German made dimmable adjustable 'TECA' floor lamp by Florian Schulz circa late 1980s. Featuring a lacquered matt brushed brass finish with an adjustable shade and flexible goose neck making this the perfect modernist style reading light as you can easily change both the angle and direction of light as well as the strength / brightness of light using the ingenious dimmer switch which can be found at the opposite end of the shade - this also acts as a counterbalance weight. This piece lends itself to any modern home decor as well as the Mid-Century Modern or Hollywood Regency styled home. Heavy and solid quality piece. This is an incredibly rare model from the Florian Schulz range of lights. We have never seen this model before and have, not yet, found it in any of the old catalogues either. Lamp measurements: Total height from floor to top of shade - 136 cm (highest position) Total height from floor to top of shade - 90 cm (lowest position) Total length of arm - 69 cm The shade measures - 18 cm x 14.5 cm x 7 cm The round base measures - 22.5 cm square Original EU wiring present and in good working order. - requires a single E27 lightbulb - 60 watt max.
