About the Item

Oracolo Gae Aulenti floor lamp designed by for Artemide in 1960. Made of opal glass and perforated enameled metal, it is considered an iconic object of Italian design of the Sixties, an expression of the designer’s research on the relationship between light, form and space. The metal structure, characterized by a perforated surface, allows the passage of light from the lower bulb, generating a diffused and calibrated lighting effect. The opal glass diffuser contributes to a soft and enveloping rendering of light. The Gae Aulenti Oracle floor lamp is equipped with a double switch, which allows a functional and atmospheric modulation of the lighting.

LTE13 “Porcino” floor lamp, designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena in 1968. The metal structure and the lampshade in transparent and acid-etched glass reflect the Milanese architect’s attention to functionality, formal simplicity and the craftsmanship quality of the materials. The compact and recognizable silhouette recalls the design language of the post-war period, in which irony and geometric rigor combine to create objects with a strong aesthetic and functional character. The “Porcino” lamp...
