We offer free curbside viewing of this item within the 5 boroughs of New York City or by appointment at our Brooklyn studio. We have here a handsome and versatile Machine Age floor lamp featuring its original spun aluminium shade which flips upward for use as a torchiere, or downward for use as a reading light. The arm movement is chrome plated brass, while the remaining components are spun aluminium. Two medium base sockets are controlled together by a foot switch or individually by switches on each socket. Torchiere dimensions: W 17", D 17", H 62" Reading light dimensions: W 17", D 21.5", H 56.5".

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Rewired and in good working condition. Original spun aluminum shade has slight bend as pictured. Surfaces show age appropriate scratches and minor loss to chrome plating, indicating age and authenticity.
