Ce lampadaire "Molla" (modèle D901), créé au début des années 1970 par l'architecte milanaise Eleonora Peduzzi Riva pour l'éditeur Candle, est une icône du design italien radical. Entièrement réalisé en acier chromé, ce luminaire se distingue par son esthétique minimaliste et résolument industrielle. Sa structure longiligne intègre un mécanisme ingénieux de tension et de pince, permettant d’ajuster et de faire coulisser le réflecteur le long de sa tige métallique pour orienter précisément le flux lumineux. Conçu à l'aube de la révolution technologique de l'halogène, ce modèle privilégie la pureté des lignes géométriques et la fonctionnalité brute face aux formes pop de son époque.
