About the Item

Gold leaf gilt hand-hammered iron sunburst light fixture from the Brutalist period. Spain, 1950s. Richly decorated with the hammer marks at the central sphere. Two layers of alternating short and long scalloped leaves and a central floral foliage decoration. Beautiful to place flush mounted but it also could work as a pendant hanging from a chain at the desired height. Terrific aged patina and original gold leaf gilding with green accents. Newly wired.
