About the Item

Large French Mid-Century Flush Mount Ceiling Light by NEOLUX, Molsheim, France, 1960s. A striking French mid-century modern flush mount by Neolux (Molsheim, France), dating from the 1960s. This elegant vintage ceiling light combines sheet metal, chrome, and granite-textured glass to create a refined and sculptural presence typical of postwar French lighting design. Height: 4.4 in (11 cm) Diameter: 16.7 in (42.5 cm) There is a minor deformation on the upper edge of the metal frame (see final photo with arrow). Otherwise, the fixture remains in excellent vintage condition with beautiful patina and original character. Comparable in style and quality to Lunel, Arlus, and Stilnovo from the same era, this Neolux ceiling light is a fine example of French modernist lighting from the mid-20th century. Rewired and ready to use worldwide — suitable for US, UK, EU, Australia, or China electrical standards. LED bulbs can be used.
