Double layered eyelash oval sunburst flush mount / pendant, Gilt Iron, Gold Leaf France, 1950s. This ceiling light fixture has en eye-catching construction featuring a double layered hand-hammered iron frame of curved beams in eyelash shape that makes the piece highly decorative. Finished in gold leaf gilding. A frosted glass panel at the central part allows to provide a good amount of light. Rare eyelash design. This stunning ceiling light can be placed flush mounted or hanging from a chain as a pendant. Nice original patina and original gilding. Newly wired.
