Art Deco wall sconce, circa 1930. Pressed molded glass with a floral bouquet design. Molded signature: Noverdy France. Wired, E14 socket. In perfect condition. Total height: 32 cm Width: 26.5 cm Depth: 10.5 cm Weight: 2 kg Very little information is available about Jean Noverdy, a master glassmaker who primarily produced chandeliers and Art Nouveau table lamps, sometimes with bronze frames, as well as a few vases and Art Deco wall sconces in Dijon around 1925. He operated under the business name: Etablissements Jean Noverdy. His workshops were located at 17 Place Bossuet. He was a student of Henri Dubret (1872-1947).
