Sculpted and assembled by hand PLUS Series is a new range of appliqués by Paul Matter that feature a simple shape in singular and repetitive arrangements. A 3-Dimensional plus is formed out of a single tube of brass that is cut, bent and finished. The light source nestled within emits soft beams of light showcasing its exceptional construction technique as embellishment. A compact form that multiplies to construct larger fixtures and individual wall hanging arrangements. Paul Matter Paul Matter is a contemporary light design studio that explores light design by blending the traditional with the experimental, form with function, and detail with the ordinary. The longevity of the designs is ensured by combining timeless visual language with materials that refine with age. The studio works closely with master craftsmen, developing handcrafted products, finished and assembled with great attention to detail, one piece at a time. Drawing from a rich palette, the materials used include aged brass, copper, stone, leather and blown glass. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance.
