About the Item

Wall Sconces designed by Edouard Schenck in bronze with alabaster shades. These wall sconces were often used by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann in his interior designs between 1913 and 1918. This model was featured in the bedroom design for Fernande Cabanel, together with the large tapestry wall hanging. Edouard Schenck (1874–1959) was a French designer and metal craftsman. He is known for his collaboration with glassmakers to create beautiful pieces, including several animal-shaped candelabras, which showcase his mastery of the art of metal working.
