Lightscape No.1 - Configurable Light Sculpture by Jason Robinson

Jason Robinson is a Canadian designer and artist based in Brooklyn, NY. His practice cuts across a wide creative spectrum - from art to humanitarian design. At every opportunity, he brings his own hands to his work, keeping a human-centered approach as the focus. Many of his creations invite users to engage with the piece - often through touch - allowing them to create their own personal experiences. Jason's work has been showcased at the Museum of Modern Art, Design Miami and WantedDesign Manhattan. Born in Canada, Jason attended Stanford University (BSc, MA) in 1989. After graduating, he began his design career at the international design firm, IDEO, which eventually led him to open his own design consultancy. His work for international agencies such as UNICEF, has appeared in over forty-five countries and touched the lives of over a million children.
