Loma Wall Lamp in Stoneware Clay with Textured Natural Finish by Catalin Filip. Dimensions: W 15 x D 40 x H 20 cm. Materials: Stoneware Clay, textured natural ceramic exterior with a cream spekcled glaze interior. Available colors: White or Black. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. A sculptural ceramic wall lamp, Loma captures a moment of soft tension—where form creases, light spills, and stillness hums beneath the surface. Hand-formed from stoneware with a matte finish, its minimal silhouette is interrupted by a deliberate kink, a gesture that suggests movement, pressure, or pause. Light glows subtly from the top, casting a quiet atmospheric halo. Earthy, quiet, and quietly subversive, Loma is wired with a bold textile cord, turning function into a visual thread. About Cătălin Filip (b. 1989) is a Romanian-born, UK-based artist and designer working primarily with ceramics. A self-taught ceramicist, he develops unique techniques through intuitive experimentation and patient trial and error. Fascinated by the movement and distortions found in nature, he lets process guide form, allowing each piece to reveal how it was made. With a background in architecture, he merges artistic expression with functional design. Over the past year, he has exhibited internationally, including recent presentations in the Netherlands, Romania, Greece, and Mexico, and at the British Ceramics Biennale in the UK, where he received the Fresh Talent Prize.
