About the Item

This stunning Mid Century Modern wall light , circa 1960 , features a sculptural polished brass concave body pierced with sets of three perforations (arranged in a pyramidal configuration with a tiered perspex shade concealing the shades fitted with an open form circular finial. Above the shade hangs an ovoid embellishment also in polished brass. The fixture attaches to handrubbed walnut backplate with brass rivets via an articulating polished brass rod. With its graphic silhouette and elegant Scandinavian aesthetic, this piece promises to add more than a touch of sophistication to any style of interior regardless of the style of decor. It would be a winning addition to any interiior space ranging from classic Mid Century to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The fixture accommodates three Edison based bulbs offering up to 300 watts of light. Finland, circa 1960 Dimensions: 24"H X 19" Diameter (Dimensions variable).
