Charlotte Perriand Aluminum Disc Wall Lights, Germany 1960s This collection of Charlotte Perriand Aluminum Disc Wall Lights is quite extensive. They were commissioned and handpicked by Charlotte Perriand herself in Germany during the 1960s. These lights were originally designed to enhance the interior design of flats in the French Alps ski resorts of Les Arcs and Méribel. The original modernist German wall light is made of solid aluminum metal and was produced by HONSEL Lights from the 1960s to the 1970s. The brushed aluminum finish of the lights looks sleek, measuring 35cm or 13.75 inches in diameter. These wall sconces are compatible with mirror head bulbs; LED technology is also available now. Designed during the 1960s-1970s movement, the unique design features simple, clean lines and innovation. The wall sconces are beautiful minimalistic statement pieces and provide a smooth halo-style lighting effect. They are executed to a very high standard and will contribute to the luxurious character of the interior. The lights are compatible with US/UK/ASIA standards and LED compatible, fitted with an E27 socket. They have been cleaned and wired and are in complete working order, with excellent overall condition.
