About the Item

We counted how many individual Venetian hand-blown glass grapes it took to make one of these amazing sconces.... The number is about 120 and there are no missing parts. No two grapes are the same. Each grape is unique so all vary in size shape and color. The colors are subtle and tasteful ranging from clear, yellow, amber, brown, different greens to blue and black. Also each of the glass parts are hand wired to a formed frame that give the lamp its shape. This type of delicate and complex lamp rarely survived and very few were made because of the labor involved. I'm guessing it dates to the 1920s. We have small collection of these that are priced per sconce. This way you can buy just one or the collection.
