About the Item

Stunning Murano glass leaves in a stunning pink hue, enhanced by the polished brass base. The sconces consist of a brass frame secured to the wall with dowels and a large pink Murano glass leaf inserted into its housing. The leaf has a thick glass structure; thanks to its thickness, it almost looks like "submerged" glass. To create this structure, the glassmakers heat several layers of glass together and repeatedly dip them into vessels of colored molten glass. Notice the meticulous attention to detail and precision with which they have been finished. Refinement and class, typical of Murano style, unique pieces that remain precious forever. When turned on, the sconce is very bright: thanks to the G9 bulb, it will perfectly illuminate your home. The overall look is modern and artistic, suitable for contemporary interiors. Fully rewired and suitable for the European and US markets. These lamps were produced in the 1980s but never used. They are in stock. We currently have more than one pair available; please inquire about availability if you are interested in purchasing more than one pair. The mounting plate measures 12 x 13 cm (W x H). Other pairs are available; please inquire about availability. We also sell in odd quantities; contact us for a quote. Additionally, upon request, our glassworks can produce larger quantities to meet your specific needs. Please note that each piece is made and finished entirely by hand by master craftsmen, making each piece unique. Therefore, slight variations in size, glass hue, color distribution, bubbles, inclusions, and finishes are normal and characteristic of the craftsmanship. These variations are not defects, but rather attest to the authenticity, uniqueness, and excellence of the Murano glassmaking tradition.
