About the Item

Regal brass Leleu wall sconces. Each light fixture consists of curved gold rods, with a white lampshade on top. Mounted on a gold-plated brass frame. The rods refract light beautifully. Multiple options are available in terms of lampshades, please contact us for more information. Dimensions: Height: 9.84" (25 cm) Width: 9.84" (25 cm) Depth: " (18 cm) Cleaned and well-wired, in full working order and ready to use. The brass frame is in very good condition. The wall lights can be disassembled and the glass individually wrapped for easy transport. The fixture requires 1 E14 standard bulb. Also LED compatible. A designer and craftsman, Jules Leleu was one of the key authors of the Art Deco movement. While he did not win the fame of such contemporaries as Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann and Jean-Michel Frank, Leleu had a longer career and was easily their peer in the conception of trim, refined furniture forms and in the use of the opulent materials — from lacquer and ivory to sharkskin and exotic woods — that were a keynote of haute Art Deco design.
