About the Item

Set of two gold-leaf gilded friezes suitable for three-light sconces, of Italian origin dating back to mid 19th century. Both wall candelabra features an elaborate scrolls and foliate design, ending in metal bobeches with waxed candles. The friezes are in good condition; one metal bobeches was replaced. They could be used as. wall lights, can be hung on the wall as antique three-light sconces, they can be wired for European standard on demand or used as a decorative candelabra surmounted by a fan-shaped lampshade with an indipendent wiring. They are elements of a pyramid the socalled liturgical altar candelabra featuring several lights, usually seven, arranged in a pyramidal shape. They are of Italian origin, comes from a private Milanese collection and date back to the mid 19th century. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago requires a governative license for export called Belle Arti. The shipping may require additional 2 handling weeks to require and get the license according to the final destination of the artwork.
