About the Item

Pair of Italian Louis XVI style three-light wall sconces dating to the early 20th century. Each sconce features a decorative urn finial crest above a tapering backplate, issuing three elegant foliate scroll arms terminating in candle-form light sockets. The sculptural design incorporates classical Louis XVI motifs including acanthus leaves, fluted detailing, and neoclassical symmetry. The patinated metal surface gives the fixtures a rich aged character that enhances the depth of the casting and decorative elements. Three scrolling arms extend outward from each backplate, supporting faux candle sleeves and providing balanced illumination. Their compact proportions make them ideal for flanking mirrors, artwork, fireplaces, or entryways while adding a refined European decorative accent.
