About the Item

Planet wall lamp with indian red steel, brass & aluminum disc by Mette Schelde The discs are attached by magnets and can therefore be moved around to your liking. The indirect ambient halogen light appears soft and creates shadows on the wall according to how the disks are attached to the main steel bar. The lamp comes with a G9 18W bulb and a 2 meter long black visible cord. This luminaire is compatible with bulbs of the energy classes. The luminaire is sold with a bulb of the energy class: D Mette Schelde has a Master of Arts in Architecture and founded her studio back in 2012, and has since then received several awards and nominations for her work. She works in a fusion between space and object, within which she creates lightning, furniture and architectural spaces for industrial productions. With a focus on function, Mette is able to create beautiful thought out designs which play with different materials, craftsmanship techniques and aesthetics. Since 2012 her studio has created ideas and prototypes, which has ended up as products for renowned Danish design companies, such as Bang & Olufsen and PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED.
