Stunning Heavy Cast Industrial Bulkhead light by Heyes & Co Ltd A rare oversized heavy industrial bulkhead wall lights manufactured by Heyes & Company of Wigan circa 1950. Originally installed in the 1950's these extreme wall lights were part of a large lot of industrial lights we were lucky to reclaim from a chemical mixing plant in Scotland, for the full find please see the Scottish Chemical Plant Find. Superb casting details including "THE WIGAN" and unusual concave prismatic glass diffusers made by Chance Brothers & Company the pioneering Great British glassworks particularly know from making Fresnel Lenses for lighthouses from 1851. As seen in the brochure snippet this model CL4165 has a hinged front panel allowing easy access to change the bulb. These are large and imposing lights that look amazing either mounted to a wall, ceiling or even surface mounted and lit vertically. The lights have been professionally restored with new CE certified electrical component and 2m of our premium fabric lighting cable, wired and ready to install. When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components. All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired & tested in line with BSEN Standards. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders can be installed on request. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
