About the Item

A set of three rare Art Déco wall lamps, based on a french Design By Perzel, Paris. These wall lamps were manufactured in the 1930s in Great Britain. The three curved Lucite/ Phenoplast parts each have a slightly typical Art Déco peach-colored tone and provide a very atmospheric light. The original chrome frame of the lamps is in very good condition, as is the Phenoplast. The electrics with the original bayonet sockets have been replaced by a specialist. Phenoplast was one of the first industrially produced plastics, often referred to as "lucite". Very good quality. The lamps are offered with the matching light sources.
