About the Item

Small ISO sconce light by Ladies & Gentlemen Studio. Dimensions: H 17” x W 30”, 6” globe. Materials: powder-coated steel (also available in brass), fabric cord, color washed acid etched glass globe. Colours: brushed brass with pine cord, rust, fog or bronze. Globe finishes: white (opaque), cream (translucent), fog (opaque), cream (translucent), or rust (translucent). Iso began with consideration towards a common problem: how to create impactful, functional overhead lighting without a ceiling electrical box. Addressing this challenge with three simple elements, Iso's single rotating armature elegantly cantilevers from the wall by the lamp's cord to strategically place a globe light source right where it needs to be. The result is an elemental sculpture of functionality in which each of the lamp's elements work together to define its use as well as its form. Iso installs directly into a wall by two screw points and plugs directly into a wall outlet - eliminating the need for a dedicated junction box or need for an electrician. The arm's adjustable pivot allows the lamp to be positioned and repositioned as the use of a space evolves. Available in two sizes, 60" and 30", Iso is suitable for installation over dining tables, sofas, or bedside. A special selection of materials range from brass to tonal texture powder coats accented by a new selection of color-washed glass globes. Ladies & Gentlemen Studio is a multi-faceted design studio based in Brooklyn's Red Hook neighborhood. Our aesthetic and design philosophy embraces complementary opposites with an unexpected balance of warm minimalism, playful austerity, and simple sophistication. Founded by Dylan Davis & Jean Lee in 2010, L&G Studio's explorative spirit is a blend of resourceful curiosity with the desire to celebrate material & functionality. Our open, multi-disciplinary approach to design yields an ever-evolving set of ideas and experiments collected from everyday discoveries, explorations, and surroundings. Our studio is located in Red Hook, Brooklyn in a quaint industrial neighborhood with a thriving creative design community. Our motto is to always stay curious and never stop exploring.
