About the Item

The stunning Gold Greame wall sconce is designed by and made exclusively for Andrew Kornat Designs by a globally renowned master Glassblower on the Island of Murano in Venice, Italy. These incredible half cylinder sconces are made of super thick mouth blown Murano Art Glass using centuries old skills in the most modern and challenging ways. The glass consists of two layers - together measuring an inch thick, the inside layer is a flat cylinder of Clear Cristallo glass blown over a mould which is then allowed to cool before the hand applied irregular blown glass cubes are applied over the top onto which sheet of 24Ct Gold Leaf is rolled before applying to the cylinder giving the Midas glow of real Gold through the glass, each sconce weighs and impressive 7kg/ 15.5lbs. Each sconce houses 2 x E14/ SES lamp holders and hang from a 24Ct Gold Plated Brass backplate which has a solid brass base to support the glass and open top with a fixing arm to secure the glass in place when hung on the wall - super well engineered to take the weight of the glass and super chic for any interior We have 3 sconces available as shown in Gold Plate and Gold Leaf Glass - but customs can have them made to order with Nickel Plate metal work and Silver Leaf or any one of 14 Different plain colours - please see colour chart in images The shipping price quoted is for one unit in a single box, but we can repack and requote if you are interested in a pair or all 3 units in stock - let us know so we can help you get the best shipping options.
