This adjustable wall lamp was produced by Maison Arlus in France during the 1950s. The structure combines brass and painted metal elements with a woven rattan shade, creating a clear contrast between industrial and natural materials. The long horizontal arm extends from a wall-mounted support, allowing the light to project outward with a controlled and balanced reach.
The lamp is fully adjustable in both orientation and position. The articulated arm and pivoting head allow the light to be directed precisely, making it suitable for reading or focused illumination. The perforated metal top element softens the light output, while the rattan shade introduces a warm and diffused glow.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The structure is stable, with light wear consistent with age. The brass retains a soft patina, and the rattan shade remains intact. The electrical system is functional.
