This elegant pair of wall sconces features three opaline glass globes, each securely attached to a sturdy rectangular brass frame via a connector. Inside the frame, the electrical wiring for the light sockets runs alongside a metal bar, which allows the sconces to be mounted to the wall using two screws positioned on the shorter sides. The connector also serves as the light socket, onto which the glass globes are screwed. These sconces stand out for their sleek design and the warm, diffused light they cast in any space. Crafted between 1980 and 1985 in a small artisan workshop on the outskirts of Milan, they are the result of expert craftsmanship, reflecting the design preferences and aesthetic sensibilities of the era. The design strikes a perfect balance between elegance and functionality, with a well-proportioned structure that holds the three opaline glass globes. These globes are original from the period and feature the traditional threaded system that allows them to be securely fastened to the light socket. Inspired by Modernist style with influences from post-war Italian design, the artisan paid great attention to detail and used high-quality materials. Additionally, we have replaced the internal metal bar used for wall mounting. However, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified electrician to verify voltage compatibility in other countries before use. Thanks to these refinements, the sconces are in excellent condition.
