A charming and finely crafted petite Art Deco table or bedside lamp manufactured in Europe during the 1930s. This piece stands as a wonderful testament to early machine-age functionalism, featuring a highly reflective, nickel-plated brass construction and a classic dome-shaped mushroom shade. The shade incorporates an adjustable pivoting mechanism, allowing for nuanced directing of the light output. The lamp has undergone a meticulous and sympathetic professional restoration. The nickel-plated surfaces have been gently polished to revive their high-mirror luster while respecting the authentic vintage patina. Additionally, the internal electronics have been entirely rewired to contemporary safety standards, featuring a premium fabric-covered cord and a robust on-off push switch integrated directly into the stepped circular base.
