About the Item

American industrial table lamp by Dazor floating fixtures, 1950s Industrial floating table lamp or desk lamp, part of the category of the "floating fixtures" used in medical or technic labs. The structure is entirely in metal, colored in a kind of violet tending to gray, provided by an arm composed by two parts, of which the lower one rotate on its rectangular basement in order to fix it in every position. The higher part of the arm allows the positioning of the diffusor up and down, staying to the use needed. The light diffusor is provided of three neon and of a double switch, in red and black. Two of the three neon produce white light, while the central one creates a kind of soft pink light, the doesn't break the complex effect and the functionality of the object. Label is present on the back. Produced by Dazor floating fixture U.S.A during 50's. Good general conditions, signs of time and use on the structure and a more marked dent on the right side of the diffusor. Measurements in cm 47x40x64h, changeable as preferred. This object reflects the real industrial concept, requiring the use of a big desk, due to its big size, or it can also stay in a living area on a side table or on a sideboard.
