About the Item

Amsterdam School Table Lamp in Wrought Iron with Parchment Shade 1930s A sculptural table lamp in hand forged wrought iron, built around a central stem with applied scrollwork rising into a three legged base. The metal has been shaped with controlled irregularity, the surface retaining hammer marks and a deep brown oxidation. The structure holds a quiet tension between weight and movement. The cylindrical shade in parchment emits a warm, diffused light. Its surface shows natural veining and age related cracking, creating a layered translucency. Light surface marking and soft oxidation are visible throughout the iron. Suitable as an atmospheric accent light on a side table or console.
