A Baltic ormolu and polychrome decorated tole peinte bouillotte lamp. The shaped rectangular anthemion cast & gadrooned dished base headed by a foliate cast & serpent entwined rack with five tooled nozzles surmounted by a rectangular parcel gilt green & brown painted shade, centered to each side by panels with cupids with pinecone finials & arrow shaped adjusting keys. The base inscribed "Flaton & Priemer, Berlin". See Christie's sale 7631, December 4, 2008 London King Street, Important European Furniture & Sculpture.
