Born in South Korea and raised in Antwerp, Kimy Gringoire is a multidisciplinary designer who seamlessly bridges the worlds of high jewelry, contemporary art, and collectible furniture. After establishing a successful career in sculptural jewelry, Gringoire expanded her creative universe into monumental scales, most notably showcased in her acclaimed BIGLOVECABLES series. Her work is characterized by a deep exploration of the "architecture of feelings," where she translates abstract concepts like emotional energy and the flow of love into tangible, physical structures. Her designs often evoke the fluid forms of veins and pulsing arteries, blending Art Deco influences with spiritual symbolism and a modern, visceral aesthetic. Based between Brussels and Mexico City, she maintains a meticulous collaborative process with local artisans to master materials such as lacquered wood, steel, and resin. By transforming the delicate language of personal adornment into functional objects for living spaces, Gringoire has solidified her position as one of the most sophisticated and innovative voices in the international collectible design scene.
