The Bride White Table Lamp by Mammalampa Unique Piece. Designed by Ieva Kalēja. Dimensions: Ø 50 x H 80 cm. Materials: Paper, brass, and painted steel. Available in different sizes and colors. Please contact us. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. The Bride’s “dress” is created from paper presenting this traditional lamp material in an unusual solution. As light shines through the paper, you will find yourself infused by an aura of airy lightness; almost as if the lamp were not subject to the law of gravity. This is most definitely a lamp with a gender - the atmosphere created by The Bride is truly feminine. Entirely handmade, each Bride has her personality characterized by the unique pattern in which her shade is woven with the personal touch of the weaver who created the pattern. No two Brides on earth are the same! The collection comprises two sizes of ceiling lamps, a kindred floor lamp, and a table lamp. Mammalampa One day we got tired from all the produced, artificial, and expected and we decided to start non-production. Finding something that has created itself and made it shine. Seeing the rough, natural beauty of the material and awakening it to a new life. This search for a new aesthetic is fulfilled by the core of the company - members of one family. Our company name is "Mammalampa" and it fully expresses the products and us, who create these products. This capacious name includes our value system. "Mamma" (mom) brings together both our philosophy - back to the roots, the real, non-produced, and the fact that the feminine approach dominates in the lamp design. "Mammalampa" lamps are created from natural materials and with minimal technological means, primarily through manual labor, primitive material processing, or even untreated materials. We want to go back to the genuine. "Mammalampa" is focused on the "hunger" for the fair and primeval. “Mammalampa” imagines materials in an unexpected light, creating its distinctive signature and values.
