About the Item

Charming small nightstand lamps belong to the 1940s to 1950s post-war era, representing classic Mid-Century Italian Modern lighting design. The lamps feature a vertical, circular frosted or pale green/aqua glass shade decorated with intricate acid-etched or sandblasted floral and geometric motifs, reminiscent of the refined glasswork style popularized by Italian designers and manufacturers of the period. Built with a polished solid brass stepped base and a distinctive central brass star or rosette fixing that holds the glass panel securely in place. Designed primarily as decorative bedside accents or nightlights, they use a small E14 bulb positioned behind the translucent glass disc to create a soft, ambient, halo-like glow.
