About the Item

A French white ceramic table lamp from the 1960s, distinguished by its softly rounded, vessel-like form and tactile surface. The base is finished in a matte, chalky glaze with subtle variations that highlight the hand-formed character of the ceramic, with small protruding handles at the sides. Paired with a newly tailored dark shade and brass fittings, when lit, the lamp casts a warm, diffused glow that accentuates the ceramic’s nuanced surface, an ideal accent for a console, side table, or bedside setting. Sold and priced individually. Condition: Great vintage condition, with minor glaze imperfections inherent to the firing process. This lamp has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new socket, plug and switch, and has been fitted with a new lampshade. Accepts one E12 candelabra base light bulb.
