About the Item

A large heavy brass Corinthian column lamp. This lamp has a classical and elegant neoclassical-inspired design. The column-style base and a fluted shaft and capital at the top resemble a Corinthian or Composite column, a common motif in Neoclassical and Empire styles. The square, tiered base is very architectural and gives a formal, stately feel.650 England, early 20th Century. Rewired with a UK plug and brown twisted silk flex.
