Attributed to Art Vannes Le Châtel, France, this elegant crystal table lamp is distinguished by its sculptural organic base, expertly formed from heavy clear crystal. Rising from a series of softly modelled feet, the fluid silhouette demonstrates the exceptional clarity, weight, and craftsmanship associated with French crystal production during the 1960s. The design reflects the sculptural direction embraced by French crystal manufacturers in the post-war period (Baccarat and alike), where traditional craftsmanship was combined with increasingly modern forms.
