About: Dualismo is an art and design studio creating work at the intersection of art, objects, and spaces. the studio is dedicated to the creation of sculptural and functional collectible art and design. Sabrina Canals is the founder and creative mind behind Dualismo Studio, where she creates sculptural pieces that blur the lines between art & design. At the heart of her work is a fascination with how objects can feel both timeless and forward-looking, as if they belong to another world or era. Through the blend of raw and industrial materials she shapes pieces that are bold, striking, and rooted in unique craftsmanship and precision. Sabrina’s approach to design is deeply intuitive and personal, guided by a desire to create objects that evoke a sense of mystery and that draw from her interest in ancient art history, symbolism, and spirituality. With Peruvian heritage, Sabrina had an early fascination with the Incan civilization, which then expanded into a deep interest of the ancient world; captivated by its architecture, art, astronomical insights, as well as their reverence for nature. With a background in interior architecture and furniture design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Sabrina’s practice has expanded to include architectural lighting, experiential installations & events, and art direction & set design for film and television. She sees these diverse disciplines as essential facets of her creative path, each adding depth and perspective to her work. Through Dualismo Studio, Sabrina continues to explore the boundaries of art and design, pursuing honest expressions that bring purpose and passion to her life. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance.
