All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. LOST is a collection of objects made by lost wax casting. As an experimental approach to design and making, LOST aims to convey the authenticity and creativity of the conceptual work to the outcome by producing the objects directly from cardboard models. The concept is realized through experimenting with wax and cardboard. The wax model for casting is created by dipping cardboard models into melted wax several times. While each dip creates a layer of thickness, cardboard models grow into a unique form as wax flows and drips in different ways. The models are then molded and cast in aluminium, resulting in one-of-a-kind creations. The process allows for the production of complex forms and structures. LOST leverages this flexibility to refine the designs into one-piece-body objects, eliminating the complicated production and assembly processes. Consequently, the pieces are durable, repairable, and recyclable products that are inherently sustainable and circular while being one-of-a-kind, expressive, sculptural objects.
