A striking mid-century table lamp thought to be designed by Danish artist Beth Breyen for Royal Copenhagen's Aluminia line.Crafted in Denmark circa 1960s-1970s, the lamp features a cylindrical body with a tapered neck and a glossy white glaze.The body is adorned with three vivid blue thistle blooms, hand-painted in Breyen's expressive and textural brushwork style, which became a signature motif in her work for Aluminia. The design is both bold and organic, capturing the sculptural beauty of the thistle in deep cobalt tones. The piece is bears the Royal Copenhagen crown over "Aluminia" hallmark on the underside confirming its authenticity and origin.A fine example of Danish modern ceramic design, this lamp functions as both a practical lighting solution and a collectible work of art.
