About the Item

Model 14092 Table Lamp by Angelo Seguso for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, Italy, 1960s A sculptural and technically refined table lamp by Angelo Seguso for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, the form is composed of two molded glass elements in deep cobalt blue - a faceted, spade-shaped upper body whose flat polished planes meet at precise edges, and a cylindrical base that grounds the composition. Between them, a custom perforated steel diffuser encircles the light source with circular and clover-shaped openings, casting an intricate pattern of light through the blue glass when lit. The complexity of the form is geometric and crystalline on the outside, luminous and atmospheric within. Unlit, it reads as a sculptural object. Lit, it reveals an entirely different presence. Signed by Angelo Seguso at the base. Rewired for U.S. standards. Accommodates one E12 socket; we recommend a maximum of 40W bulb or LED equivalent.
