The Siro 287 table lamp, designed by Marta Perla for Oluce, is a poetic lighting object that explores perception, balance, and celestial inspiration through an essential geometric language. Composed of a lens and a front disc, Siro creates a refined optical illusion: the lamp appears as a perfectly suspended bidimensional object when viewed head-on. A subtle LED source generates a grazing indirect light within the internal structure, enhancing the depth and graphic purity of the design. Inspired by Sirius—the brightest star in the night sky—the lamp expresses a conceptual dialogue between cosmic references and minimal contemporary design. The result is a sculptural yet understated presence, capable of shaping atmospheric and refined lighting environments.
