About the Item

A fine pair of baluster neoclassical lamps of patinated bronze with gold detailing. A black basalt stone base supports a paw-footed tripod with a baluster detailed with fluting and acanthus. The five light candle supports exhibit scrolls and bronze bobeches. The two light fixture is covered with a black linen shade with gilt interior. France, 19th century.
