About the Item

This pair of converted antique table lamps are unsigned, but presumed to have originated from Italy and date to approximately 1920 and done in the period Art Deco style. The lamp bases, which were once garnitures, are done in two tones of cut and fitted burgundy and cream marble in a tapered geometric pattern. These converted garniture lamps have had added an accenting black composite ball, which in turn, is accented by the brass ball finial and brass bun feet. The lamps have been re-wired and have both the original click switches on the fixtures, and wheel switches on the cords. The lamps shades are contemporary cardboard shades which are for the photos and not included, unless otherwise requested.

Replacements made: The marble components of these lamps originated as garnitures which have been converted to table lamps. Rewired: The lamps have contemporary wiring with wheel click switches on the cords. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. One lamps shows several cracks on the top and chipped upper corners, and the other has small chips on the corners as presented in the photos, and consistent with age and use.
